The second camera is here (v0.5). The behind-plate view looks straight down the barrel of the pitch, so depth and height trade off (±~1 ft) — worst right at the plate, where it matters most. The shed side camera sees the arc in profile: no depth guess, no ~10.7 ft cap, and most accurate as the ball nears the plate. Both cameras run side-by-side, synced to the field mic.
12 ft-pole calibration. A plumb 12 ft pole, banded by the foot and stood at tape-measured marks up the pitching lane in front of both cameras, gives an exact pixels-to-feet law at every distance — turning the arc heights into real, verified feet, and unlocking two-camera triangulation and exit velocity on batted balls.
